Summerfest 2026 was everything we hoped for and then some! Our second annual event was one for the memory books. Whether you missed out on this year’s gathering or just want to relive the fun, we’re recapping it here:
A Day Full of Fun for All Ages
With more than 40 local vendors from across Elbert County, our community hosted a lively marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, community resources, and hometown talent. Residents and visitors had the chance to discover new favorites while supporting local entrepreneurs and connecting with the people who help make our community such a special place. More than a dozen giveaways throughout the day added to the excitement and gave attendees even more reasons to celebrate!
One of the biggest highlights of the day was the incredible foam tower brought by The Patch. Dozens of kids (and plenty of adults) spent the afternoon laughing, running, and playing through mountains of bubbles.
Attendees also had the chance to meet an adorable miniature Scottish Highland calf, who quickly became the star of the show. Everyone enjoyed getting a glimpse of this sweet visitor!
The Pines & Plains Libraries brought their love of reading and learning to Summerfest with a fun space where children could explore books, enjoy engaging activities, and learn more about the resources available through our local libraries. Affinity Ranch also joined the celebration, introducing residents to friendly goats and sharing more about its important work in equine-assisted therapy.
Creating Memories Together
Live music from local band Un-Tethered provided the perfect soundtrack for the day, while food trucks kept everyone fueled with delicious meals and treats. The beer garden, hosted by the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce, gave neighbors a place to relax, catch up, and enjoy a beautiful Colorado afternoon together.

Summerfest is about so much more than a day of fun. It’s about creating opportunities for neighbors to become friends, supporting local businesses, and building traditions that families can look forward to. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
